West Midlands becomes centre for hybrid cars

The West Midlands is fast becoming an international centre for the development of hybrid cars, which cut emissions by being powered using a combination of fuel and electricity.

Researchers, manufacturers and suppliers try to take advantage of the region’s status by coming together to discuss the technology in a conference at Warwick University.
