Researchers offer breakthrough in flu protection

A breakthrough in research to protect us against bird flu and normal influenza has been made by scientists at Warwick University.

The researchers are using an anti-viral produced by the virus itself.

It offers the prospect of developing protection against the full range of influenza strains, possibly preventing a major pandemic.
