Test for pre-eclampsia

Researchers at Warwick University are developing at test which could help prevent the deaths of mothers and unborn children due to pre-eclampsia.

Currently there is no diagnostic test for the condition but medics have identified bio-markers which could lead to a test.

If successful the researchers believe it would transform the treatment of women with the condition.
