




The diagnosis and treatment of cancerous brain tumours in children is set to be improved thanks to research at the University of Birmingham.
In partnership with Birmingham Children's Hospital researcher from the university using cutting edge science in magnetic spectroscopy to analyse tissue samples from children's tumours to significantly improving our ability to diagnose and treat these cancers.
The group will use the UK's first 900 MHz magnetic spectrometer at the University, one of only seven in the world, to conduct the study.
