




The 70 million pound International Automotive Research Centre at Warwick University aims to keep the UK's premier car manufacturing industry competitive, helping to secure 50,000 jobs in the sector.
The centre, jointly funded by Ford and regional development agency Advantage West Midlands, will develop the latest technology in areas like hybrid vehicles and voice recognition.
The centre will help the car industry exploit the research facilities at the university.
