Science City 'brings innovation to business'

The managing director of electronic division of Midlands-based defence technology firm QinetiQ Dr John Salkeld, explains that science city in the region provides a vital link between university research and the business application of innovation.

He was speaking at an ideasforlife.tv conference for businesses in the region about using digital media in marketing and communications.

He said having an organisation to transfer the creativity of university research into industrial scale processes was vital to make innovation flourish.
