Students find out how science works

In national science and engineering week, ideasforlife.tv visited the How Science Works exhibition at Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham.

One hundred Year 9 students from Birmingham met science professionals to find out how the science taught in schools is applied in the world of work.

From police forensics to pollution control and precious metal assaying, the young people gained insights into careers in science, and boosted their preparations for their science SAT’s tests.
